FAQ
These are the questions we hear most from Greeneville-area homeowners before they book. If yours is not here, call us at (423) 620-2283, and we will answer it.
Yes. When we come out to find and diagnose a problem, there is a service-call fee. We will tell you the amount when you call so there is no surprise at the door.
Yes. You get the price for the work before we begin. If we open a wall or a panel and find something that changes the job, we stop, explain it, and give you the new price before going further.
We take cash, check, and Cash App. We do not offer financing, so plan on paying when the job is done.
Yes, we offer a discount to veterans. Mention it when you call or book, and we will go over it with you.
Estimates
Often, yes. Nick tries to handle estimates by phone because it saves you waiting around for a visit. A photo of your panel or the problem area makes it easier.
Some jobs need eyes on them first, such as a complicated service change, wiring running through finished walls, or a problem we cannot understand from a description. We will tell you up front which kind yours is.
Scheduling
Yes, we offer same-day service when the schedule allows, and we take emergency calls. If you smell burning, see sparks, or have lost power in part or all of your home, call right away. Our emergency electrician page has safety steps to take while you wait.
Yes, we offer evening and weekend appointments. Call and tell us what works for you.
Permits
When a job needs a permit and inspection, we take care of that process. Who issues the permit depends on where you live, since some cities run their own and others fall under the state or county. Our guide to Tennessee electrical permits explains the basics.
Nick is a Tennessee-licensed electrician. Our license guide explains what that covers and how to check any electrician's license yourself.
Service area
We are based in Greeneville and cover Greene County first, then nearby towns such as Newport and Morristown. See the service areas page for towns and drive times.

Yes. A dead outlet, a light fixture, or a breaker that keeps tripping is a real problem to the person living with it, and we are glad to take those calls.
